Step One
Email Admission Coordinator, Katie Wareheim, or call the Admission Office at (410) 243-6054, ext. 148 to receive our Viewbook and related admission materials.
Step Two
Schedule a testing session for your child through the Admission Office. Calvert conducts individualized testing Monday through Thursday from September to January the year before your child would begin attending Calvert. The testing session takes approximately 45 minutes. Parents receive feedback immediately after the session.
Our admission associates make the testing session as pleasant and comfortable as possible, often describing the session to students as play time. We encourage parents to use the same approach when preparing their child about the session.
Calvert admission testing is designed for in-house use only and is not intended to be used for other purposes.
Step Three
Register to attend one of the Considering Calvert Days. Check the admissions calendar for dates and times. To register, please call the Admission Office: (410) 243-6054, ext. 148.
Step Four
Return the Application, Parent Questionnaire, and $75 testing fee to Calvert one week prior to your child's testing appointment. Fee waivers are available upon request.
We encourage parents to submit an application to Calvert as early as possible to ensure your child's place on the list for consideration. Check the admissions calendar for deadlines.
Step Five
Complete and deliver a Transcript and Recommendation Release Form along with the Common Referral Form to your child's current school administrator by December 1. The school will send the completed forms directly to Calvert School.
Step Six
Attend one of the Prospective Parents' Nights. Check the admissions calendar for dates and times. To register, please call the Admission Office: (410) 243-6054, ext. 148.
