HomePresident's Message
I am thrilled to be continuing my term as President of the Alumni Association Board of Governors. It is my hope that through our alumni programs, you will reconnect with old friends, teachers, and the school where we learned to diagram a sentence, 'speak to the eagle,' and write Calvert Script.
Though much has changed in the world around us, Calvert still provides the outstanding education that is its legacy. As my husband, Justin Klein '86, and I watch our two oldest children, Charlie (in the Tenth Age) and Gracie (in the Eighth Age) learn and grow at Calvert just as we did, we fondly think back to our years on Tuscany Road. We can hardly wait until our youngest son, Drew, starts Pilot Class in a few years so that he is able to experience the same love of learning that I know is inherent in all Calvert School students.
Perhaps you remember your first Folder Paper, the time you had to sit in the dreaded Black Chair, or your first time speaking in front of an audience. We want to hear about your Calvert School memories as well as learn more about where you are today. I hope you visit the Class Notes section to keep Calvert up-to-date with what is happening in your life, as well as the online directory to keep your contact information current.
Experience has taught me that an Alumni Association is only as strong as the alumni within it. Whether or not you live in the Baltimore area, I encourage you to get involved with Calvert School and the Alumni Association. Attend a Regional Event in your area, give to the Annual Fund, post a message on the Calvert School Alumni Association Facebook Page, or nominate yourself to be a member of the Alumni Board. Also, don't forget to visit the Alumni Events section so that you can join us at our next event. We'd love to see you there!
Most importantly, if you do find yourself on Tuscany Road, come in for a visit. This is your school, and you are
always welcome!

Patty McCormick Klein '86
President, Alumni Board of Governors
