"Good Morning, Dr. Martire"
August 9, 2010When children shake hands with the Head Master on the first day of school, they will now have to greet him as “Dr. Martire”. Andy Martire received his degree of Doctor of Education in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania on May 15, 2010.
“For my dissertation, I conducted a qualitative research study examining the experiences of parents of color. It is entitled Moving from Diversity to Community: Listening to Parents of Color at Calvert School. Through surveys, focus groups, and interviews, I was able to gather and analyze hundreds of pages of data, make meaningful connections, and gain important information that will help Calvert improve in a variety of ways” says Dr. Martire.
