Eve Plank ’13 Wins Essay Contest
Eve Plank ’13 won first place in the Second Annual Henrietta Lacks Legacy Group Essay Contest. For her achievement, she was presented with a County Council Proclamation from the Baltimore School for the Arts.
The essay contest supports the mission of The Henrietta Lacks Legacy Group, which preserves and promotes the legacy of Henrietta Lacks and her contributions to modern medicine. It also extends the legacy and history of Turner Station, Maryland, where Lacks resided at the time of her death. Congratulations Eve!
