Eighth Age Shows Off Its Personality on Stage

The Eighth Age performed their plays on Tuesday and Wednesday for family, friends, and schoolmates. The girls performed two stories, Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester and A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon, both adapted by Mrs. Woods and Miss Waters. The boys performed A Porcupine Named Fluffy by Helen Lester and Stellaluna by Janell Cannon.
The students have been working hard on the play by memorizing their lines, rehearsing on stage, bringing in costumes, and learning songs and dances. The most valuable lesson, however, was the moral found in each of the stories: be yourself. The whole Eighth Age concluded their plays by singing, “My special P-E-R-S-O-N-ality is one of a kind, which means you can’t find another person like me!” Congratulations on a job well done!
