QUEST (a Middle Grades Partnership) Kicks Off at Calvert!
This summer, Calvert School is once again working with Middle Grades Partnership (MGP) to collaborate with students from Barclay Elementary and Middle School. The program, QUEST, involves students from both schools participating in weeklong, project-based learning initiatives and having a great time in the process!
Week One involved engineering prosthetic devices for a variety of species. Working together the students used various techniques to create prosthetics for different animals. Week Two is focusing on cultivating vertical farms while learning about urban food issues. Finally, in Week Three, students will explore the world of time and work in teams to create their own time pieces.
