Are You Ready for Winter?

With winter weather looming near, we will be testing our Emergency Notifications system during the week of October 26. If you would like to receive a text message or email when school is delayed or closed, you must configure your notifications properly on the website. Please review our Website Notifications instructions or call Craig Luntz, Director of Technology at ext. 193 or Stephanie Coldren, Director of Communications at ext. 120.
Please also be aware of Calvert’s policies for communicating all school delays and closings:

When conditions necessitate school to be closed or require a two-hour delay in opening, an announcement will be made early in the morning on our website, through Facebook and Twitter, and on WBAL television and radio. Again, if you wish to receive notifications
via email or text message, follow these directions.

If school opens two-hours late, both the middle and lower school buildings will open at 9:30 with classes starting at 10:10 and 10:15, respectively.

Occasionally, inclement weather may affect afternoon dismissal and after school activities. In this case, announcements will be made by email, text notification, and on the school's website. Also, the Athletic Department posts game cancellations via email and text notification and on our website calendar.

As always, please feel free to call Craig Luntz, Director of Technology at ext. 193 or Stephanie Coldren, Director of Communications at ext. 120.
