Eighth Ager Ava Berman is Horse Show Champion

Eighth Ager Ava Berman competed in the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit, which consists of ten consecutive USEF-rated hunter/jumper horse shows located in Ocala, Florida from January through March.
Ava competed in the Short Stirrup Hunter Division along with her pony, First Romance, affectionately known as “Romie.” She also showed another pony, Gayfield's American Idol, known as "Bo." They competed most weekends through the circuit in classes with six to eight competitors ranging in ages 12 and under.

She was awarded mid-Circuit champion of the Short Stirrup Hunter Division in mid-February. She continued to compete and was awarded Circuit Champion at the end of March.

Ava started riding horses at age two and won the Devon Horse Show for Lead Line against 40 participants. She rides 4-5 times a week and has never looked back! All of her hard work is paying off. Congratulations Ava!
