High School Night Brings Alumni Back to Campus

The fall at Calvert means the beginning of the high school admission process for the Eighth Grade. The Class of 2024 gathered for High School Night on October 6. This annual event brings representatives from dozens of day and boarding schools to Calvert to meet the Eighth Grade students and share information about their schools. Close to 50 alumni returned to campus to represent their high schools and visit with Calvert friends and teachers. Many alumni gathered in the Middle School for pizza and a chance to catch up before assuming their roles as admission ambassadors for their high schools.
This event, led by Upper School Placement Coordinator Kathy Cole Liotta '79, is an important step in the high school search process as it provides Eighth Grade students with opportunities to learn more about the individual schools and hear directly from alumni who recently made their own high school decisions.
