Welcome to Calvert School!

My name is Gayle Kelly and I am the President of the Calvert School Parents Association (CSPA). My husband, Frank, and I have four children, two Calvert graduates, one in the Middle School and one in the Lower School. Our family has been part of the Calvert community for 15 years!

15 years ago the CSPA did not exist, but today it is active and thriving. The CSPA is here to serve as a conduit between the parents and the administration, faculty, and staff of Calvert School. We provide support to the school, generate funds for the Annual Fund, and promote all that Calvert School provides its families. The true success of the CSPA is the immeasurable involvement of the parents. Calvert parents are generous with their time and talents. I want to thank Wesley Naylor Finnerty ’83, last year’s President, for leaving the CSPA in a position for another terrific year.

There are many ways to get involved and contribute to the CSPA. Click here to access the Parent Volunteer form. Please take the time to consider how your family can participate. All of our big events - Grandparents’ Day, Corks for Calvert, Calvert Day, and Faculty Appreciation currently have Chairpersons and Co-Chairs. However, each of these events, as well as ongoing support to the school, are in need of volunteers. Please note that if too many parents request a particular event, you may not be called. Therefore, sign up for a few events and the Chairperson will follow up with you. If you have any questions about any of the events, please contact me or Stephanie Coldren, the Administrative liaison to the CSPA.

To our new families, I’d like to extend a very warm welcome and look forward to serving alongside you this year. To our returning families, welcome back and thanks for making the CSPA such a success! Be sure to regularly check the CSPA page on the Calvert School website for upcoming events - we do not want you to miss out on anything!
