Dear Parents,

The basic goal of education has not changed; that is to prepare our students for life-long learning and success in an ever-changing society. However, the tools and instructional methods to achieve these goals have advanced dramatically. Instructional technologies offer tremendous opportunities to students and educators to improve the educational experience within our school community and communication within and outside of Calvert.

Our technology goals were designed to help Calvert integrate technology throughout the curriculum with the intent of creating diverse innovative thinkers. The focus of the school's technology plan is to promote student achievement using technology and create successful 21st century learners. Developing and maintaining technology skills is a key to retaining innovative instructors and challenging students to use technology as a unique tool for maximizing content understanding.
