Saturday Art Workshop: Seventh Agers - Tenth Agers
On April 21st and April 28th, Calvert will be hosting a free Saturday art workshop for students to participate in the beautification of our new Calvert Community Garden. Last August, middle school students wrote a proposal for the BGE Green Grant and were awarded $6,000 to initiate a composting program and establish a community garden on campus. On these two Saturdays, students and guest artists will collaborate to create fun educational signage, murals and stepping stones for a May 2018 launch of this cool project.
