Bees for BARCS
All Grades
Developed through a student leadership project in 2016, the entire Calvert School community rallies in support of animal welfare through our partnership with the Baltimore Animal & Rescue Care Shelter (BARCS). Students in Fifth Age, Tenth Age, and Seventh Grade focus on the mission of BARCS at our Fall Morning of Outreach, and the entire school comes together to run, walk, and fundraise in support of the Barcstoberfest 5K and 1M race each October. Since 2016, Calvert School has been the largest independent fundraising team for this event donating in excess of $25,000.
Calvert School is a coed independent lower and middle school.
