Kicking Off the 2018-2019 Calvert Fund

Members of the Calvert School community gathered at 2 Oak Place on Tuesday evening to celebrate the official launch of the 2018-2019 Calvert Fund. The success of the Calvert Fund would not be possible without our volunteers’ support each year. This annual event is an opportunity to thank our volunteers for their time and effort.
This year, Calvert School parents Chris and Peter Espenshade are spearheading our program as Calvert Fund Chairs. They, along with Vice Chairs Kelly and Scott Foley, are leading a 100-person Calvert Fund Leadership Team. Parents, alumni, grandparents, trustees, and faculty and staff are all contributing by reaching out to their peer groups. With a deep understanding of how annual giving impacts our School community, these individuals will play a critical role in helping us reach our ambitious $1,200,000 goal.

Guests had the opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow volunteers as well as members of the Board of Trustees. Calvert Fund Chairs Chris and Peter Espenshade, Head Master Andrew Holmgren, and Board Chair Ward Classen all addressed the crowd and discussed the importance of the Calvert Fund.

Thanks to our generous community’s support, Calvert is able to provide the foundation that every student needs. We are sincerely grateful to our volunteers and donors who make this collaborative effort a tremendous success.
