John Waters ’58 Designs New York Film Festival Poster
In addition to dedicating the summer months to focus on his next book, John Waters ‘58 reported his latest project was yet another way to “reinvent himself” during the pandemic.
He designed the 58th NY Film Festival poster seen here. According to Film at Lincoln Center, "Waters’s NYFF58 poster is both a fond tribute and witty parody of the historic festival, poking fun at the long-held stereotypes, valid critiques, and presumed pomp and circumstance of the annual Lincoln Center event."
