Dr. Beau Ances ‘84 Studies Sleep “Sweet Spot”

The Epoch Times highlighted the work of Dr. Beau Ances ‘84 in the article “Sleep ‘Sweet Spot’ May Mean Less Cognitive Decline.” The article shines a light on his research into the relationships among sleep, Alzheimer’s disease, and cognitive health.
Dr. Ances is the Daniel J. Brennan, MD Professor of Neurology and the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs for the Department of Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to Alzheimer’s research, Dr. Ances’s work includes HIV and associated neurocognitive disorders.

“I am a big fan of Calvert and would not be here today without Calvert,” shared Dr. Ances. “I was lucky to work with so many great teachers who instilled important foundations that I still use today.”
