Bessie Cromwell Speers '76 Appointed Head of School at Middlesex
Congratulations to Bessie Cromwell Speers ‘76 who will become the next Head of School at Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts beginning in July 2023. Bessie currently serves as Head of School at Tower Hill School, where she will conclude eight years of visionary leadership next June.
Bessie’s career in education spans three decades and includes a wealth of experience as a teacher, advisor, coach, and administrator. Along the way, two special appointments brought Bessie full circle to her alma maters Calvert and Bryn Mawr where she served as the Director of Placement & Strategic Planning and the Director of Admission & Financial Aid respectively.
Best wishes to Bessie, her husband Tom, and their family as they begin a new chapter at Middlesex!
