The rise of a new generation

For the Mini-week at Calvert, the soccer Bees were playing their last game before the end of the season's tournament at Gilman.
Many of our 7th and 8 graders were out on fieldtrips for this game. The team was lead by the next generations of players for what appears to be a very strong Gilman squad.
If ones can think that our young Bees would have been overwhelmed by the task, they would have been wrong.
The Bees suffered in the first half, Gilman player were a bit taller and stronger and they had very technical midfielder. But our characteristic "fitting Spirit" eventually payed and the Bees kept a 1-1 score at the Half-Time.
After the half time talk, our young midfielders were allowed to move out of the defensive area to create more scoring opportunities. If the Gilman boys started he second act with the possession, the relentless work from our midfielder bare its fruits and Calvert scored a second goal. The goal pumped our new Bees and they kept pushing until they secured the victory with a third goal.
