Ms. Hazen Receives Poetry Grant

Liz Hazen, Seventh and Eighth Grade English teacher, was awarded a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council. The Individual Artist Awards recognizes artists in 18 disciplines. Ms. Hazen was recognized for her poetry. Additionally, Ms. Hazen led the Poetry and Conversation series at the Pratt Library on Tuesday, April 25. She read her poetry and spoke about her work along with fellow poet Rose Solari.
