Dr. Karen H. Lu '76 Helping to Keep Patients & Families Safe in Houston
As rain fell in Houston, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center initiated an onsite ride out medical team to care for patients and visiting families.
Alumna Dr. Karen H. Lu '76, a professor of gynecologic oncology and the interim chief medical officer at MD Anderson, was among this life-saving medical team. Yesterday, Dr. Lu spoke to Morning Edition host Mary Louise Kelly. You can listen to or read the abbreviated interview through the High Plains Public Radio website.
