The Institute for Leadership & Purpose

Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders Today

The Institute for Leadership & Purpose at Calvert School uses the power of experiential and reflective learning to inspire tomorrow’s leaders to impact their communities and the world. We believe in fostering an environment of self-discovery, compassion, and ethical decision-making that foster a sense of purpose. The Institute seeks to develop confident, globally aware, and independent thinkers who are empowered to share their voices. Grounded in Calvert School’s mission, the Institute offers students and teachers an opportunity to unite with community partners, engage with civic leaders, explore meaningful outreach opportunities, and leave behind a legacy of partnership, leadership, and innovation in Baltimore and beyond.

Our goal is clear: a commitment to raise leaders. It is a mission we will embark on together as educators and parents, with the hope that each child grows up to be a whole person with a whole heart.

PURPOSE is a stable intention that is meaningful to self and beneficial to the world.
