Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program

ROLLINS-LUETKEMEYER SCHOLARS PROGRAM

For nearly 130 years, Calvert has been dedicated to providing children with the strongest Lower and Middle School experience in Baltimore. Delivering on this mission depends on our ability to recruit and retain extraordinary students from a wide range of backgrounds, regardless of financial circumstances.

Calvert School is among a very small number of independent schools that funds financial aid entirely through philanthropy and endowment support. Tuition at Calvert educates only the children of the families who pay it, and donor generosity makes every scholarship we offer possible.

Launched in Fall 2025 in partnership with the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program is designed to bridge the affordability gap for middle-income families.

During the 2025–2026 school year, the Foundation stepped forward with a generous pledge of $250,000 in matching funds, challenging Calvert to raise an additional $500,000 in cash to support this vital initiative.

Between October 1, 2025 and October 1, 2026, all charitable gifts designated to the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program will be applied to this match. Unlocking an additional $250,000 for scholarships for middle-income families is a critical funding priority for our school.

Calvert is grateful for the opportunity to expand aid offerings to middle-income families, and we are relying on the support of our parents, alumni, and friends to make this possible. To contribute to this meaningful initiative and help ensure its success, please consider a gift or pledge, earmarked for the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program, today.
