Maricka Oglesby
Director Women’s Leadership Institute of Baltimore
Maricka Oglesby is the Director of the Women’s Leadership Institute of Baltimore at Notre Dame University of Maryland. The Women’s Leadership Institute of Baltimore (WLIB) provide enrichment opportunities for students enrolled in Notre Dame ‘s Women’s College and to serve as a resource for faculty, staff, alumnae, and friends. This includes recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women, providing workshops for skill development, convening women from the larger Baltimore community and the State for discussion on pertinent topics, and incorporating the Institute into alumnae activities in an effort to provide lifelong learning and support. Maricka is an experienced leader in higher education as a fundraiser, producer, and event organizer. WLI’s Women of the World Festival, held every other year, is a signature Baltimore event for empowering young women. Maricka is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
