Wolfpack: Unleashing the Leadership Power of Young Women

You are graciously invited to the Spring 2020 Middle School Leadership Summit hosted by The Institute for Leadership & Purpose at Calvert School. The goal of this event is to:
Empower middle school students to recognize gender inequities in society and to be change agents in closing these gaps.

Leadership is not just reserved for a chosen few; it lies within each of us yearning to be embraced and cultivated as we find our paths to create a better world. Join us on March 27, 2020 for a powerful day to embolden our young leaders to find their voices, come together, and unleash their power. This day will focus on the importance of nurturing young women and will be grounded in the eight leadership tenets offered by author, athlete, and equal rights advocate Abby Wambach in her new book, Wolfpack. As she writes - ”Let’s come together to change the game and alter the stagnant ideas of what a leader looks like and acts like; let’s destroy the stereotypes of yesterday.

Baltimore Middle School Leadership Summit

Each year, The Institute for Leadership & Purpose will host summits bringing together over one hundred and fifty middle school students from across Baltimore public and private schools. These summits bring young leaders together for day-long conversations and workshops with regional leaders. Topics for upcoming conferences, in addition to women’s leadership, include

social justice, entrepreneurship, and athletics.
