Liza Ward Jarrett ’77 Celebrates More Than Two Decades with Liza Byrd Boutique

For more than two decades, Baltimore-based boutique Liza Byrd has offered a unique collection of apparel and accessories with a twist for ladies, teens, and girls.
Founder Liza Ward Jarrett ’77 says, “Working with the Liza Byrd brand has been a passion because I have had the freedom to just be myself. The clothing that I create will be worn by people who celebrate everyday day life and feel happy and relaxed wearing each piece. There is great joy in creating items that incorporate style and happiness, and the feedback I receive is inspirational and contributes to the ideas behind my designs.”

What began as painted furniture and whimsical gifts has evolved into stylish, fresh, and affordable apparel and accessories for all ages inspired by brightly colored prints and unique trims. The line also includes adorable coordinating outfits for girls and their dolls inspired by Liza’s daughter, Bayly, who as a child always wanted to “match” her doll.
