Eric and Casey Briggs, 2014-15 Annual Fund Chairs
Eric and Casey Briggs were enthusiastic supporters of Calvert School and the Annual Fund long before they were asked to chair the 2014-15 Annual Fund. With four children currently attending Calvert (Emily ’17, Lindy ’20, Sam ’21, and Will ’24), they are very familiar with the many ways that the money raised by the Annual Fund directly helps support the teachers and programs that are helping to nurture their children.
According to Casey, “The teachers are truly the heart of the school and are fostering a love of learning while developing strong character in each child. We feel confident that the money we give to Calvert is being used to ensure that Calvert remains the very best place to educate children.” All gifts to the Annual Fund, regardless of the size, make an impact on the success of the school.
Casey believes “giving to the Annual Fund makes you feel connected to the School and shows that you are invested not only in the well-being of your own children, but invested in making the School the very best place for all of its families as well as its faculty and staff. We feel that giving to the Annual Fund it is our way of thanking Calvert for all they do to go above and beyond for our children each and every day. We consider supporting the Annual Fund a priority. We see it as our duty as a Calvert family to give what we can each year to demonstrate our sincere gratitude for the education our children are receiving. We are proud to give to the Annual Fund and it makes us feel even more connected to the School and its community.”
Calvert School is a coed independent lower and middle school.
