Banner Society Celebrates Calvert at Biannual Dinner
Members of the Banner Society celebrated the success of Calvert and were thanked at the biannual Banner Society Dinner on Wednesday, April 22. Held at the Engineers Club in the historic Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, the evening began with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and was followed by remarks from Head Master Andrew Holmgren and Chairman of the Board Jim Stradtner, dinner, and dessert.
The Banner Society is Calvert School’s leadership giving society recognizing donors to the School whose financial contributions ensure the excellence of a Calvert education. The Banner Society is comprised of Calvert’s six highest giving clubs: the Castalia Society, the Silhouette Society, the Black & Gold Circle, the Tuscany Society, the Presidents’ Circle, and the Head Masters’ Circle. Members of the Banner Society guarantee that Calvert’s mission of academic achievement, high standards, integrity, and the lifelong pursuit of learning are fulfilled today and tomorrow.
