Alex Roesner '11 Earns a Spot on 2016 US Men's National U-19 Lacrosse Team
Calvert alumnus Alex Roesner '11 has earned a spot on the 2016 U.S. Men's National U-19 Lacrosse Team. Alex is one of 30 players on the 2016 roster, narrowed down from 105 young men who tried out for the team in late June. Alex scored the winning goal in overtime during the exhibition match on Sunday, featuring over 50 players vying for a spot on the roster. The 2016 U.S. Nation men's U-19 team is made up of players from ten different states attending 12 different universities. Alex will be attending The University of Pennsylvania next season.
