Earlier this month, Calvert students Ella '20, Elise '21, and Elena '21 Cooper all competed in the 2015 AAU National Track & Field Junior Olympic games in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The girls are members of the Owings Mills Track Club and helped earn the organization an impressive 11 top-three finishes in the meet.

All three girls earned multiple medals at the competition. Elise won a Gold medal and a National Champion title in the 8
-and-under girls 100 meter dash and a Bronze medal for a third place finish in the 8-and-under girls 200 meter dash. She also won two National Titles in early July at the AAU Primary National Championships, which is exclusively for athletes ages 5 to 8 years old. She won Gold medals in both the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash in the 8-year-old age group.

We are very proud of our young Calvert athletes!
