Two Calvert Students in Top 10 at Cross Country Championships
Congratulations to Pieter H. and Ben R. for placing in the top ten at the BAC Cross Country Championships earlier this month.
The Baltimore Athletic Conference of Middle School (BAC) Cross Country Championships were held on November 2, 2016, at St. James Academy in Monkton, MD. There were 193 runners from twelve schools who competed in the championship meet.
Calvert School students Pieter H. (7th Grade), with the time of 12:30, finished 6th place overall and Ben R. (8th Grade), with the time of 12:33, finished 9th place overall. Top ten finishers for both male and female runners received medals and formal acknowledgement at the awards ceremony, which was held immediately following the run.
