A Night of Food and Fellowship at Calvert's Kitchen and Multicultural Festival
Calvert’s diverse community shares their culture at our annual celebration of many nations.
The Calvert community celebrated our various cultures and heritages at this year’s annual Calvert’s Kitchen and Multicultural Festival on Thursday, November 9th. Much of our community came together to share delicious dishes of their heritage and enjoy a night of family fun. This event allowed us to learn more about our peers and students outside of the classroom environment. Calvert’s Kitchen was organized and supported by our Middle School Diversity Club. The Diversity Club also organized other new activities such as a movie, tae-kwon-do, henna, games from around the word, and arts and crafts.
