Join us as we speak with Dr. Annie Luetkemeyer ’84 and Dr. Keith Flaherty ’83 about their groundbreaking research and experiences related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will additionally have the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award Presentation: Henry Hopkins ’55 and 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award Presentation

Dr. Annie Luetkemeyer ’84 is a professor of medicine and infectious diseases at the University of California, San Francisco, and a physician at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where she specializes in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), tuberculosis, and viral hepatitis. Since the pandemic began, she has been involved in trials on potential treatments, including the IV anti-viral drug remdesivir.
 
Dr. Keith Flaherty ’83 is the director of clinical research at the Massachusetts General Cancer Center in Boston. He currently leads a team of high-profile infectious disease experts and immunologists who are developing and maintaining a portfolio of the most effective therapeutics for COVID-19.
