1st Game Under Our Belts

This was our second trip down to Anne Arundel County in 8 days. I know from commuting the last 4 years of my career in the navy from Mt. Washington to the Severn School and then on to the Naval Acdemy that this is not an easy drive for students on the bus or parents. So, whether it was in the form of attending the game or picking up your son at Calvert after 6:30 p.m. thank you for your support.

Since the second day of school your sons have been putting in a great deal of effort in preparation for yesterday and what is to come over the next 5 weeks. They were focused, driven and most importantly supportive of each other out on the field. Being without our 6th grade teammates meant that some boys played, in addition to their regular slots, positions they were not wholly comfortable with to fill in some gaps. Well done boys!

We look forward to welcoming the 6th grade back from Echo Hill and having the entire team back together for Monday's practice.

We hope to see you all at St. Paul's Wednesday the 11th.
