Our starting striker and captain hurt his knee at the end of our previous game and needed to rest against the Mc Donogh's Eagles. He did make the trip to support the team and we are all thankful to him for doing that. We thought it would give a chance to players in our squad to show their leadership.
In the first half, our Bees lost their fighting spirit and they seemed afraid of our opponent. The Eagles scored 3 easy goals when Calvert crossed the half line maybe twice.
Things had to be said during half time and the coaching team had to repeat the words of the first French Coach to win a soccer world cup. Aimée Jacquet did this speech during the half time of the semi-final that France was about to loose to Croatia in 1998: "We look like a scared team, what are you scared about? Scared!? You will loose, I can assure you!".
In the second half, our Bees showed to the talkative Eagles they could fly too. We scored two quick goals thanks to our subs who lead the way for a "remontada". 3-2 our Bees were ready for a come back. 
Unfortunately, the Eagles proceeded to a few changes and eventually scored two goals to tie the second half and win the game 5-2. 
We hope the Bees uses this second half as an inspiration to finish the season strong!
