The girls finished the year off on a high note, bringing home another championship trophy! It was an exciting game as we dug ourselves into a 10-0 hole in the first quarter. However, over the following 18 minutes, we outscored Harford Day 34-14. We relied on a swarming team defense, a deep bench, and outstanding passing to get back into it and I couldn't be prouder of the team's resilience. 
Unfortunately, the book keeper didn't keep track of individual player's points, but I think that is appropriate for this game. It was a full team effort on both sides of the ball. Every player contributed something and I think a lot of us peaked in this game. It was a great way to finish off the winter season and I'm thankful for this group of basketball players. To the 8th graders, you will be missed and thank you for all you've done. You showed leadership, played hard, and set the tone. To our 7th graders, let's look to keep this going next year and live up to the expectations that this team set.
