In a tough away matchup, Boys' B soccer fell to Dumbarton Middle School after a hard fought match. The fast pace and physicality of DMS caught the boys off guard as we surrendered 4 goals in the first half of the game. After some halftime reflection and formation changes, we came out fighting in the second half. Unfortunately, DMS snuck in two more goals. Still, the improvement in our play was clear between the two halves. I applaud our players for keeping their heads up and never slowing down or giving up. Each and every boy worked hard until the final whistle. We saw opportunities throughout play, however, were not fortunate enough to finish them. This game will serve as a reminder for us that there is heavy competition out there and we will have to rise to the occasion when we face it. Onto the next as we play St. James Academy at home @ 4:45 pm today!
