The Mighty B's fought hard to win yesterday in a very close game. Through perseverance and hard work, the boys managed to stay ahead and secure the victory. Jackson Jones '28 opened up our scoring with his first goal of the season, a fantastic volley straight over the keeper and into the back of the net! Congratulations, Jackson! We went into the break tied 1-1 after HD quickly equalized. In the second half, with our minds set on a win after back-to-back losses, Haynes Pruette '27 made a fabulous run up the sideline going all the way to sneak it past the keeper and into the left corner. We had many, many touches inside the opponent's box in this half and couldn't quite put it away until Cam Hall '28 finished off the job and made the score 3-1. A big thanks to Cam for giving us some breathing room as we gave up a late penalty allowing HD to score a late second goal and gain some momentum. The defense held strong until the final whistle and we stood victorious at the end. Thanks to all our supporters, the officials, and Coach D'Adamo as always. We have practices for the remainder of the week and set our sights on 3 games next week! On Monday, October 13 we will head to Friends School for a 4:30 pm game. That is followed by a match @ St. Paul's on Wednesday at 3:30 pm and we close out the week with a home game against McDonogh on Thursdsay at 4:30 pm.
