This was one of our most tightly contested matches of the season. Friends put out a good squad who was able to compete with us, but we were a touch better the whole match. The first half saw us playing most of the time in their half with just the occasional counter threatening us. Despite the constant pressure, we weren't able to break through and were stuck at 0-0 at halftime. 
In the second half, we were finally able to break through in the 35 minute when Tobin curled in a corner to score directly. We held on to that one goal lead for the rest of the match until the final minute when Sody broke through on a free kick from Tobin to have a run at goal and finish it off with her left boot. It was a great showing by the defense and goalkeeper to keep the shut out and a well played match on both sides. Just one more game to go!
