Fifth Age & Sixth Age Applicants

Fifth & Sixth Age Applicants

At Calvert School, kindergarten is called Fifth Age, and first grade is known as Seventh Age. In Sixth Age, all Calvert students receive pre-first curricula and enrichment to prepare them for first grade and the start of their academic journey. In Calvert’s private kindergarten program, our boys and girls explore school readiness through language arts, mathematics, music, foreign language, and character education. Sixth Age builds on this foundation as the children transition out of kindergarten and begin reading and geography classes, among other offerings.
