Sarah Caldwell

Panel Moderator
Director of Leadership Gifts, Calvert School
Sarah Caldwell is a relationship builder and storyteller. She spent years greeting Baltimore viewers in the early mornings on WBAL-TV’s “11 News Today.” She spearheaded the “11 for a Cure” series highlighting local breast cancer stories and led the coverage for the Ravens “Honor Rows” series featuring youth groups working to improve their communities. Now the former news anchor and reporter navigates the world of philanthropy as the Director of Leadership Gifts at Calvert School. Pairing her knack for connecting with her insatiable curiosity, Sarah gets to the core of what drives philanthropy. In her short time in development, Sarah merged those skills to host a successful social media fundraising initiative on Facebook Live and continues to find innovative ways to leverage her experience and her connection to the Baltimore community. Sarah serves as a mentor to young women pursuing careers in journalism and has been recognized for her work with the American Heart Association, Pathfinders for Autism, the Alzheimer’s Association, Komen Maryland and Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. Sarah grew up in Philadelphia, is a proud cheese steak lover and graduate of Temple University.
