Davis Lindsey '98 and Rob Lindsey '94 Help Revive Lundy Farm in New York

Lundy Farm is a 62-acre property—2 hours north of NYC—surrounded by 30,000 acres of state forest in the Hudson Valley. The estate features a four-season regenerative organic farm and greenhouse, places to swim, and an expansive landscape to roam. The farm produces the majority of the food for our innovative, seasonal plant-based cuisine.
Lundy Farm is a revitalization project of Irving Lundy's 100-year-old estate that was co-founded by Mike Patton and Davis Lindsey '98Rob Lindsey '94 is also a partner. Lundy constructed stone buildings and bridges, horse and cow stables, and a chicken coop, in addition to developing the evergreen landscape, cedar forest, and freshwater pond.

Chef & Farm Director Davis Lindsey designed the regenerative organic farm, which features a soil-based glass greenhouse for plant propagation and specialty vegetable production in addition to a 4-acre field that grows a diversity of vegetables, fruit, flowers, and herbs. The farm team cultivates over 150 varieties of plants from seed. Chef Lindsey creates seasonal vegetarian menus, each highlighting the farm’s freshest produce.

The property also features a spring-fed pond for swimming, trails through the woods for hiking, and a movement facility that supports yoga, meditation, dance, and other classes. Guests can join one of the scheduled retreats or rent the entire property for private groups up to 20. Follow along with Lundy Farm on Instagram @lundyfarm.
