The Honorable Barbara Kerr Howe '51

The Honorable Barbara Kerr Howe ’51 is a senior Judge on recall and the first woman ever to sit on the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Womans College and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She served as Board Chair for the Community College of Baltimore County for nine years, is a past President of the Maryland State Bar Association, and past President of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law Alumni Association. She is the recipient of the Rita C. Davidson Award, Maryland Leadership in Law Award, and the H. Vernon Eney Endowment Fund Award.
