High School Alumni Return to Campus
Alumni from the Classes of 2019 to 2022 returned to Calvert on Sunday, November 20. Always a highly anticipated event, this year was a Baltimore Ravens watch party. Dressed in their purple and black, alumni cheered the team to victory while also catching up with classmates and visiting Middle School classrooms. The highlight for many was the opportunity to reconnect with Calvert teachers. Head Master Andrew Holmgren and Middle School Head Matt Buck ‘87 welcomed the graduates back to campus. Middle School math teacher Skip Howe ‘77 and Upper School Placement Coordinator Kathy Cole Liotta ‘79 also stopped by to visit with their former students.
For many of the young alumni, this was their first visit to campus since the Luetkemeyer Athletic Center opened in September. The afternoon included cornhole and spike ball competitions and pick-up soccer and lacrosse in the fieldhouse. Some alumni even tested their squash skills on the new courts.
