George "Van" Wolf, Jr. '56 to Write Biography

George "Van" Wolf, Jr. '56, an environmental attorney in Phoenix recently shared with us that as he is tailing off from his current career, he is researching to write a biography of Charles Sheldon.
Mr. Sheldon is the Vermont born big‑game hunter who lead the campaign to make Mt. McKinley (now Denali) a National Park in 1917. In the last decade of his life (he died in 1928), he was perhaps the most influential wildlife and land conservationist in this country. We wish Van all the best as he researches and writes this wonderful book!
