Giving Back Together: Alumni Volunteer at First Fruits Farm
On Saturday, October 3, Calvert alumni and their families spent the morning volunteering at First Fruits Farm in Freeland, MD. Working alongside fellow volunteers, the group helped harvest 26,000 pounds of potatoes, enough to provide 52,000 meals.
First Fruits Farm grows and donates fresh produce to organizations serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the region. It was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni while making an impact in the community.
